The Regular Meeting of the Lingle Town Council convened at , September 17, 2008 with Mayor Walter leading the pledge of allegiance.Upon roll call, the following were present, constituting a quorum:Mayor Russell Walter and Council Members Tami Brown, Dawn Gilchriest, Al Unverzagt and Joe Welte.There were also present:CT David Kendall, ATS Larry Haeffelin, PC Kenny Elwood, FC Joe Wells and TA Greg Knudsen.CM Gilchriest moved to adopt the agenda as proposed.CM Unverzagt supplied a second and the measure carried without dissent.CM Welte moved to approve the minutes of the 3 September regular council meeting.CM Gilchriest voiced the second and the motion passed unanimously.ATS Haeffelin reported the contractor had reconnected the pool drain and the council agreed to release the final payment.He reported completion of winterizing the pool.PC Elwood reported participation in the Safe Kids program at the county fairgrounds with other county agencies on 6 September.He continues to have mechanical problems with the Dodge patrol car and is having the work done under warranty.If this shop repair does not correct the problem, he intends to try another dealership for service.CT Kendall presented the financial report for August and placed it on file.He also advised there would be a power outage on 4 Oct in the morning for repair work on the town’s substation and residents should not water their yards that morning.He additionally pointed out this week is the 90th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Lingle.The council by consensus approved the Fisher Roofing & Restoration bid of $9,204.68 to repair the hail damage on five of the town’s buildings from the late June hailstorm.The council approved by consensus the bid of Molly Duncan to cater the monthly county elected official’s breakfast on 25 September for $120.Mayor Walter recessed the meeting at to go into executive session to discuss personnel issues.The meeting reconvened at CM Gilchriest moved to terminate the “At Will” employment of Police Officer Matt Berry.CM Welte provided the second and the measure passed on a vote of 5-0.CM Welte moved to adjourn the meeting.CM Unverzagt input the second and the motion passed without dissent.Mayor Walter adjourned the meeting at
