Mayor Walter welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked them for attending. CM Unverzagt moved to adopt the agenda with the addition of County Commissioner Hudelson under public comment. CM Gilchriest supplied a second and the motion carried unanimously. CM Gilchriest moved to approve the minutes of the 21 May regular council meeting as printed. CM Welte offered a second and the measure passed without dissent. CM Watson moved to pay the bills for $119,733.46. CM Welte entered the second and the motion carried 5-0. Discussion later in the meeting addressed unfinished details of the pool project and the council agreed by consensus to reduce the pool contractor’s payment by $2,000 until the items pass final inspection later this fall. County commissioner Hudelson shared comments with the council about the consensus grant final list submitted to the SLIB as well as the county’s resolution for renewal of the 1% optional sales tax they are recommending towns adopt. TS Flock updated the council on maintenance activities and everyone thanked him and Larry for the super job of preparing the cemetery for Memorial Day. PC Elwood reported the holiday weekend was very quiet with no major incidents. He also advised progress continues on town cleanup issues. AFC Unverzagt reported the LVFD responded to three ambulance and four fire calls in May. The department will attend the state fire convention in TA Knudsen briefly discussed cleanup issues and advised council members to bring any problem areas to his or PC Elwood’s attention. PM Walford reported the first several days of pool operation experienced roughly 60 swimmers per day. The council by consensus agreed to look into a pool cover for the main pool and a replacement cover for the smaller pool. CT Kendall shared scheduled activities with the council for the next several weeks. CM Unverzagt moved to approve ORDINANCE #302, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING ARTICLE 1 SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE #212 PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN RATES FOR EACH KWH OF ELECTRICITY USED, on second reading. CM Welte voiced a second and the motion carried 5-0. CM Welte moved to approve ORDINANCE #303, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING ARTICLE 3 SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE #212 PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN SEWER RATES, on second reading. CM Unverzagt provided a second and the measure passed 5-0. CM Watson moved to approve ORDINANCE #304, AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE TOWN OF LINGLE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR Mayor Walter conducted the swearing in ceremony for council members Unverzagt and Brown. A reporter from the Lingle Guide observed and took photos of the occasion. Mayor Walter presented outgoing CM Watson with a plaque, letter from the council and town employees and her nameplate as memento of her seventeen years of outstanding service to the town and its residents. Everyone present congratulated and thanked Della for all of her hard work and dedication on behalf of the town. A catering permit gained approval by consensus for the Ft. Laramie Saloon for the Legion Hall on June 14. Mayor Walter adjourned the meeting at
